Barbizon and Lakeview see rise in car break-ins

More than three dozen car break-ins in a week. That is the frightening reality facing residents in Goshen, Barbizon and Lakeview. 

Neighborhood watch groups went door to door last week warning residents to lock up their belongings and since then it's only gotten worse. 

Megan Brown is just one victim of the crime spree that's centered around Goshen, Lakeview and Barbizon. Her car was broken into last week. 

"Looks like they took a tool to pop the window out, without opening the door to grab the stuff out," Megan Brown, Goshen resident, said. 

The car burglar was startled and didn't get away with anything but it's a story that neighbors here are hearing way too often.
