Her main complaints revolve around temperature control and drainage. She said the computer system designed to monitor water temperature did not work properly, resulting in a cold pool, spa and sauna at opening times. And very cold change rooms.

Another member, Hans Kasper, of Oatley, was also disappointed with the centre's upgrade.

"Expanding the gym and reducing the number of toilets and showers still doesn't make sense," Mr Kasper said.

"And I'd love to have a cold shower followed by a hot one, like we had before the makeover. "There are open lockers without keys, lockers missing doors and damaged locks that take a long time to be fixed."
