A semi left the Turner Turnpike and crashed through an Oakhurst neighborhood Sunday afternoon. The truck narrowly missed several houses before coming to a stop. 

One homeowner said the 18-wheeler came within a few feet of his children's bedroom at an estimated 60 miles per hour. Another man said he and his wife had to jump out of the way when the truck came to a stop in his yard.

Omanager Michael Tolich says the law is very clear that people must not walk on railway tracks. 

"Trains are big pieces of machinery and they don't stop in a hurry. And pedestrians are very small pieces.

Mr Tolich says there were plenty of other places the man could have taken photos from, and a photograph is just not worth a life.
